Full containment of the 3 square mile, 2000 plus acres Anaheim Hills’ Windy Ridge Fire is expected early Tuesday morning as firefighters continue their battle against the wind whipped flames. Residents have returned to their homes after Sunday’s evacuation orders were cancelled. Only residents are allowed to return to the fire areas.

All Orange Unified Schools remained open with restrictions on physical activities due to the heavy smoke and ash in the Greater Orange Communities.

SigAlerts continue on the 241 due to the fire activity with some south bound lanes closed south of the 91 Freeway.
