PBS-TV Huell Howser "Road Trip" visits Orange

Road Trip makes an Orange Stop
The popular PBS-TV program Road Trip, featuring animated host Huell Howser, makes a stop in Orange two nights this month: on Sunday May 20th at 8:00 p.m. on KODC-TV Huntington Beach; and Sunday May 27th at 7:00 p.m. on KCET-TV Los Angeles.
The program will feature popular Old Towne favorites like breakfast at Watson’s and a tour of the Plaza featuring a stop at A&P Collectables. Other stops include Pitcher Park and the little-known-outside-of-Orange gems: the Orange County Badminton Club; the Friendly Center; and Prime Produce.

Another Road Trip- OUSD Memorial Motorcycle Run
A group of Orange Unified employees are organizing the first Memorial Motorcycle Run for Monday May 28th, 2007. OUSD employees, their friends and others will gather at the OUSD District Office parking lot at 1401 N. Handy Street at 9:00 a.m. to start off on a day’s ride around Orange County. Organizers are asking that you bring an American flag to fly on your bike in honor of Memorial Day. For more information or to RSVP please call Joe or Bernie at (714) 639-1330.
