SANTIAGO CANYON FIRE/City of Orange Parks UPDATE 10/22 7:50 pm

GREATER ORANGE NEWS SERVICE
Due to damage from the high winds, Orange has closed all its parks until the City is able to assess all tree damage. The City of Orange Website states the following:
“City Park Advisory
In the interest of public safety and due to our high wind conditions , we are asking that the community refrain from visiting our parks at this time. Trees and branches continue to fall in our parks and until the winds have subsided and we are able to assess those trees that have been compromised due to the winds, as well as clean up from the recent events, we have closed our parks. In addition, all permits for outdoor use of our parks have been cancelled for today, Monday, October 22nd. Please check back daily as the weather conditions could extend the cancellation further. “
